Once you have experienced driving the Jaguar XK it will become your goal to own one! Yes they are relatively expensive - but oh they really are up there with the very finest things in life. I challenge any head not to turn when an XK flows through your local high street, or zooms past you on the open highway.

XK Coupe - 4.2 Litre V8 engine
XK Convertible - again the 4.2 as above
XKR - 4.2 Supercharged R- with amazing 420 bhp

Made of light aluminium, but very strong and rigid, all XK's incorporate the new Sequential Shift 6 Speed Automatic Transmission. You can keep your social credentials because all models have 2+2 seats - although trying to sit in the back should only be kept for emergencies!

Safety
All cars are fitted out with a comprehensive range of safety features to keep the driver and passengers very safe indeed. The introduction of Jaguar's complex but brilliant Adaptive Restraint Technology System gives first class protection. Working out where passengers are sitting, and where the point of impact takes place, it computes in a millisecond the best way to deploy the air bags around the car. Bigger and better disc brakes with other braking design features have completed tests at Jaguar's German test centre and the XK has reaped the reward of these benefits through maximizing safety in this area.

Even if you are driving the convertible the all new Roll over Protection System - will keep you from damage in a roll!! The car and of course you are protected by the powerful bars which spring into place below the roof area to give total protection in the unlikely scenario of the car rolling.

Interior Features
The centre dash of all models is taken up by Jaguar's fabulous large high resolution touch screen which incorporates Climate Control, Audio Systems, Sat Nav and telephone - its so easy to work and should not take your mind off the driving bit!
The on board sound system will give you real quality audio and pumps out 25watts into each of the 4 speakers and includes six disc autocharge while supporting Windows media and MP3 technology.
The telephone system (Bluetooth) is controlled from steering wheel and allows calls to be made safely, using the Bluetooth system without the need for wires and cradles.

Prices
Start around $120k and for the top of the range around $150k. Look into shipment from the UK as it is not as expensive as you may imagine.

Cars of this quality don't come cheap - but I genuinely believe you get great value for money here-and far better than many other 'respected' marques.
