The S-type Jaguar reeks of individuality, and while connecting its styling with the famous Mark 2 1960's version - don't be fooled. This car is crammed with today's technology, comfort and plenty of power under the hood!. The S Type boasts three choices of engine and they can be selected into three models - with the 4th model range housing the extraordinary supercharged V8 engine.

Award winning engine The S-Type Jag's award winning diesel engine is a V6 twin turbo-charged beauty incorporating light-weight technology and improved fuel efficiency. Unbelievably quiet, this smaller more compact design delivers a big kick but all in ideal comfort.

There are three engines and four models to choose from:

S-Type Spirit - the 2.7 liter twin turbocharged V6 206bhp diesel; or 3.0 liter petrol (240bhp)

S-Type XS - the same 2.7 liter twin turbocharged V6; or 3.0 liter petrol (240bhp)

S-Type SE - again the same engine choice as above

…and top of the class is the S-Type R's 4.2 liter V8 supercharged engine, with 400bhp - loads of clout!

Technology
The S-TYPE Spirit is packed with goodies in the form of;
Cruise Control, Electronic Park Brakes, Electronic Traction Control, Park Aid and Automatic Headlights as standard. Inside there are a number of options for facias and trims available-and not forgetting electrically adjustable seats and steering. I particularly enjoyed the steering wheel system-your hands fit naturally to the driving position giving effortless finger access to controls such as audio, cruise control and options such as Bluetooth and Jaguar Voice.

Safety
Again the S-type comes up trumps-with a plethora of air bags housed in its sleek body. The position of each Jaguar passenger is ultrasonically monitored adjusting these airbags accordingly to give substantial protection.
Brake pressure is monitored on all four wheels and this is directed by the Anti Lock Braking System (ABS) giving first class control and superior handling as your Jaguar pounds across the country.
