Audacity Limitations

Although audacity is FREE there are some limitations:

  • You cannot add FX as a plug-in and change it at a later point in time
  • While adding an effect you effectively burn it into the audio
  • There is no control of individual volumes or other pan controls throughout the audio track only a master controls for each track
