If you would like to Add or Remove Programs from your computer, here are a few simple steps to follow:
To Add a Program:
- Go to and click on your Start Button at bottom left of screen.
- Select 'Settings' and then select 'Control Panel' from the pop-up menu.
- From the Control Panel double click on the icon 'Add or Remove Progams'
- You will now have a list of all the programs installed on your computer and a list down the left-hand side. From this menu select
'Add New Programs'.
- To add a program from CD-ROM select this option.
- To add a feature or program from Microsoft then select this option.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
To Remove a Program
There are 2 0ptions here: If the software program has been installed from either a CD-ROM or downloaded from the internet then it may have its own
uninstaller program. First check your Start menu (bottom left of screen), then select Programs, search for the software - look inside it's contents. If it
has a down arrow then there may be more items listed. If you find Uninstall then click on that to start the uninstallation process.

- Go to and click on your Start menu at bottom left of screen.
- Select 'Settings' and then select 'Control Panel' from the pop-up menu.
- From the Control Panel double click on the icon 'Add or Remove Progams'
- Select the software you want to remove by clicking on its name then select 'Remove'.
- Windows will now safely remove the software.
